This is just a little post to say hi...hi

So i've been off the radar alot recently, not shoots really and i've been mostly editing old photos. Still as i always say i really do have lots coming up in the next few weeks.

The best is a shoot with Amy Manson, up and coming actress who is playing the lead role of Lizzie Siddal, muse to Dante Gabriel Rossetti, in the BBC Two period drama Desperate Romantics. Amy has also just been cast for BBC’S next series of the supernatural drama-comedy series Being Human. This shoot will be great and i'm very excited about it. Off the back of this i will also being doing a number of other shoots with actresses and presenters.

I really hope the shoots goes well and this will be happening at Hatfield Forest in a couple of weeks! Also i'm hopefully doing a shoot this Thursday with Chel.c outside Cambridge. We'll be going for something high fashion so it'll be fun plus we'll be shooting at Wandlebury which is beautiful and vast so we ca go just about everywhere

I'm still working hard but haven't been shooting as much as usual but i'm bout to get back in the saddle.

I have loads coming up, this Sunday i'll be finally doing a shoot at a derelict location with three models...that'll be interesting. I feel like my idea of 'fashion photography' has taken away from m more creative side so i'm going back to my roots and concentrating on my favourate aspects, composition and light. I just hope the weather will be as good as its predicting at the moment. Hope hope hope!!!

I'm contemplating doing a 365 (a self portrait for every day of the year) but am not fully convinced...i think it would push my creative practice but its a big commitment so haven't decided yet...what you think?

I've had the pleasure of working with some great make up artists recently which has been so a load of my mind...i'm not the best at it admittidly so it's great to not have to worry about everything. I just pray for a stylist/designer now!

Well i have been shooting non stop, i've been adding new photos all over the place and working hard at networking. It's hard but i'm getting there.

I did a great shoot at Hatfield Forest, it was an amazing day so we lucked out. Also did my first studio shoot, that was worrying...i was a bit out of my element but think it turned out well, i want to do more studio shoots soon but want them to say something. I feel like now i'm concentrating more on fashion i'm losing the concepts and personality that used to exist in my photography so from now on will be showing heart behind my work.

I have some stuff coming up, have alot of shoots planned, one next week at a location i've been wanting to shoot at for ages...a graffiti'd wall, it looks colourful and edgy so should be fun.

Also going to be doing another studio shoot which i think will reflect my personality a bit more involving a Tutu and a pair of Converse trainers...awesome!

Finally i'm concentrating on a new series of photos involving my friends and family...though if anyone is a fan of me and lives near me then i will be glad use people i don't know. Its going to be a series of raw and honest black and white portraits with the subjects holding up a piece of card revealing something about themselves, you can see an example here: [link]

I'm also going to be doing my first exhibition which i'm terrified and excited about, i've ordered all the prints which look awesome and some postcards of my Balloon series which look so much better than i thought it would. Anyway the exhibition should be later this month so i will let you all know how it goes.

My photography is up an running, i am taking this seriously and am enjoying every second of it. I do miss work a bit but am enjoying the freedom of taking photos whenever i want, as you can see, i'm getting in touch with my inner child.

The Balloon series was so fun, myself and Kat drove to the fields near my house, we chose her clothing in the car...she got changed in the car (at the side of the road...not as hidden as she would have liked) and we grabbed the balloons and started shooting. The thing i love bout Kat is i just have fun, we both have exactly the same style and ideas that its a breeze. Plus i loved the jumping shots...so much fun.

So what next...well i really don't want to get stuck in a rut, i'm a bit to familiar with fields so need to get out of shooting there too much. I have so many ideas though that it shouldn't be a problem but its just doing them. I'm so comfortable taking photos in fields and public gardens that i need to pull myself out and push myself to go further.

So hopefully will be shooting on a jetty, in a paddling pool, on an avenue, in a maze, against a graffitied wall and in disney land (not actually disney land but have an idea to mimmick some of the disney films)

I'm really trying to put myself out there which is hard, i feel like my work is good but not great so the ci fisdence pulls me back...i am trying though. I've joined so many sites and entered loads of competitions so i hope i get noticed. Please come and visit whenever you want...i hope my work will grow.

Hi everyone,

I finish work in a few weeks and after that i'll be going photoshoot crazy! I had a great shoot with Katherine Fay and will be using her again very soon. I'm really proud of the photos and feel that i'm really growing as a photographer.

I'm also going to be taking a photoshop course to work on my skills and might be taking a fashion photography course to learn more in that area.
